Haiti has a population of over 10 million people. Nearly half of those people are under the age of 18. 

 

Latest statistics state that nearly 750,000 children in Haiti are orphaned and one in seven die before their fifth birthday.

Because of this great need, the number of orphanages in Haiti runs into the hundreds.  But when we started, we did not want to be just any orphanage. We wanted to create families. We want to provide a home.

​

That is what makes Wholehearted Home unique. Our children live in homes with two house parents. They act as a family unit. It is a beautiful thing.
